The time has come to apply for an internship or a job. You have thought about what you want, you have done your research. You have prepared your CV, motivation and portfolio, and made sure everything is up to date. Then the moment comes to send everything away into the unknown… What will happen? Who will look at it? What are they looking for? What will they think?
In this workshop we will try to give a bit more insight into these questions and enable you to make a good impression. We will be focusing on the portfolio but also on the accompanying letter and (in most cases) the motivation. Make sure you don’t miss it!

The goal is to Design a vandalism-proof exercise solution for Streetlife Studio America. Ranging from simple movement to full outdoor work-outs.
To increase the social cohesion in the public areas and parks, Streetlife wishes to contribute by integrating their products in urban planning. To expend the range of our collection we wish to add outdoor exercise solutions that match with the Streetlife style. The solutions will add more value to the use of parks and square, because it will attract different kind of people: Young people with a lot of energy and playfulness, active runners with a busy schedule, but also elderly who are less motivated and mobile to go outdoors. Not only parks are in need of these solutions, also buildings like nursing homes, health institutions and hospitals are creating “Exercise gardens”.
Streetlife starts with an introduction of the company and the case. After a brainstorm session each small group (3 students) will work out different concepts. The strongest concept will be detailed and presented to the group. On the end of the case day the morning and afternoon group will come together for the short closing award session. Two concepts will be awarded by Streetlife!

When you are looking for an internship, a graduation project, or maybe even a job, the speeddates offer the perfect opportunity to meet companies. In a swift conversation of about 10 minutes you will be able to present yourself to a specific company.
The speed dates will take place on both fair days. The following companies are participating in this year’s speeddating sessions:

Around the 9th of March we will announce who is invited for the speeddates by which companies. When you are invited by one or more of the companiess you are automatically signed up for the “prepare for the speed dates” workshop on March 12.
